Jewelweed is a native plant that is used to stop itching caused by poison ivy, insect bites and stings and other skin irritations. Plantain is another native plant that is very soothing to insect bites. Together these two plants work as natures help for the itchies. This salve is safe for all skin types. Packaged in a 1 oz. tin, it is easy to carry along in the pack for those "on the go" situations.
